Meet Erinn, your Fairport & Rochester family photographer

The journey home

My photography journey started over 20 years ago, right here in Fairport, before life led me out west to Colorado, where I spent a majority of my career creating and running my business, photographing wonderful people against beautiful scenery.

After 20 years away, I felt called to come home. To be close to family, and close to my roots, the things that matter most to me in this world.

What "East & Elm" means

East & Elm is a coming home to self. "East" is the way back to my roots. "Elm" is my initials. Together, they're this next chapter: more than a local photographer, a full-service photography studio.

Beautiful portraits, turned into thoughtfully designed artwork for your walls and albums for your hands, things that will be loved and passed down for generations.

What it's like to work together

I've spent 14+ years photographing families, after retiring from weddings in 2019 to focus on the work I love most: the everyday, in-between moments that don't feel like much at the time, and turn out to be everything.

Ask my clients and they'll tell you I'm easy going, that I listen and actually hear what you're picturing, and that I have a lot of patience, especially for the moments that don't go as planned. Those are usually my favorites anyway. Most of my clients aren't one-time bookings. We build something ongoing, session after session, season after season.
